SIZE:
Damon has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’3” 175 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field. Attacking the defense at every level, whether in the air or on the gorund. Controls the pace of a game by his play. Very agile QB who’s difficult to pin down. A tall lengthy frame, capable of adding bulk to his frame prior to collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
His arm motion is consistent, allowing for throws to be made in-line with his receivers. Good timing and ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are made of high velocity, able to get to his receivers in a hurry. Very good vertical passing game, extending the field with bombs over coverage.
RELEASE:
Throws with a fully extended arm release. Its comes from up over the top with high release point. Quick footwork getting to his setup, with good balance and stride.
THROW ON RUN:
Damon can hurt you with his arm or on the run. Good vision downfield as he works to the outside. Strong forward momentum upon his delivery.Very mobile, whether he’s in the pocket or out in the open field. A quick first step. Able to create separation.
POISE:
Very confident in his ability to lead his team downfield. Displays calm while in pressured situations.Excellent mobility in and around the pocket. He’s able to feel the pressure around him as he works around traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s skilled at picking up on opportunities downfield, working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Makes the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws, adding a softer release. Works the ball in between zone coverage.
