SIZE:
Daniel has good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 190 lbs. A very mobile QB within the pocket, showing good lateral movement. Should be able to add bulk to his frame over the next year as he prepares for the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
Daniel delivers a perfect touch pass, able to hit in all areas of the field. He throws a very catchable ball, one made with a tight spiral. Showing good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Can add to his accuracy with proper set up set prior to delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can hit his receivers in all areas of the field, showing good strength in arm. Strong delivery at the short and intermediate range and throws made with tight trajectory vertically down the field.
RELEASE:
Daniel works with an over the top, fully extended arm motion. He gets the ball out quickly with accelerated momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
Daniel displays very good quickness getting to the outside, while keeping his eyes downfield. Good body rotation working towards his target, releasing the ball with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
Solid footwork on his dropbacks, well balanced. Good speed and quickness out in the open field with some elusiveness.
POISE
A leader on the field with a strong desire to compete. He works quickly from a pocket passer to a mobile QB with fluid transition.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good at picking up on defensive pressure while making space for himself within the pocket. Able to step up in the pocket, or roll to either side as he surveys the field for potential targets.
DECISION MAKING:
Daniel shows good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He’s able to pick a defense apart with soft release throws made over zone coverage or in between tight areas of space.
TOUCH:
This is a major area of strength for Daniel. He’s able to make throws with a soft release and tight trajectory. Has a knack for finding gaps within coverage.
