SIZE:
Danny has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 175 lbs. Has the potential to be a playmaker on the field, capable of hurting a defense in so many ways. Very difficult to contain in the pocket, showing good agility and elusiveness. A strong throwing QB who can drop bombs downfield.
ACCURACY:
A sharp delivery with throws made with tight trajectory. Remains consistent whether in the pocket or on the run. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Can fire it in with high velocity at short distance, while also displaying excellent range. Good adjustments to the velocity of his throws, adding a softer touch when the situation calls for it.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery, able to get good extension on his release. Shows good footwork prior to set up as well as a consistent arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Danny works at his best, on the run. Demonstrates good vision downfield while getting outside the pocket. Able to locate his targets, displaying good rotation and directional swing as he squares up. Strong forward momentum. Ball in hand, chest high, ready to attack.
FOOTWORK:
Very good footwork of the dropbacks as well as set ups. A pure Dual Threat capable of turning it up at any given moment. A quick first step with a burst of speed right off the block.
POISE:
He does a great job picking up on defensive pressure as he’s able to create space for himself. Very calm under pressure able to maintain his focus on the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility in and around the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience he'll continue to add to his game. Picking up on reads with quick hitters. Very good work through his progressions in 7v7 play.
TOUCH:
Capable of delivering a pass with a soft release when needed, at every level.
