Scouting Report

SIZE:
Davi has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’0” 175 lbs. This QB has that "it" factor. Able to take over a game at any moment. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to oversee the entire field. Throws with a full arm extension, giving his passes added distance and velocity.
ACCURACY:
He’s a very accurate passer, showing good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very precise with his delivery, showing excellent throwing mechanics in a consistent manner.
ARM STRENGTH:
Davi can attack a defense in many ways, whether it comes from a quick strike over the middle or a deep vertical throw on a pump fake. Good strength in arm with high velocity throws.
RELEASE:
This is an area of strength. He’s fundamentally sound. An over the top delivery with a full arm extension. Very good foot placement on his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB with very good lateral mobility. Able to get to the outside quickly as he squares up with tight body rotation. Stays very consistent and accurate while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
This QB works the pocket with sharp footwork and quickness. Balanced stride and footing on his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
He shows good awareness of defensive pressure, able to step up or move laterally for added space. Very calm under pressure, stays focused on the play as he guides it through.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is an area of strength. Extremely comfortable within the pocket. Able to survey the field for potential targets. Good agility in and out of the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
He works methodically as he picks apart a defense. Many weapons in his arsenal as he works through his progressions. A quick timer, able to get the ball off quickly with good judgment.
TOUCH:
His throws are made with a soft touch, able to adjust the velocity of his throws in certain passing situation.
