DeMorlan has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5’6” 170 lbs. A strong running QB who displays good quickness in step. Lower body strength, very difficult to take down.
ACCURACY:
DeMorlan throws with precision and timing. Able to hit his receivers while in stride with good ball placement
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays throws made of high velocity, connecting with his receivers at every level.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full arm extension. Gets the ball across in a hurry. Very good footwork on his dropbacks and prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
DeMorlan's an athletic QB who can get to the outside with good speed and quickness. Very fluid with his movement, allowing for an efficient stride.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility in and around the pocket. He’s dangerous while on the run, displaying shiftiness with cuts and stops. Precise footing and spacing on his drop backs.
POISE:
Very comfortable in the pocket. Able to work quickly as he leads his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience while executing the play. Good sense for incoming pressure.Does a nice job going through his progressions, able to work from his primary receivers to check downs.
TOUCH:
A strong passer who can adjust the velocity of his throws to add a softer touch when needed.
