SIZE:
Ean has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 180 lbs. This QB can do just about anything he wants on the field. Does a nice job working in and out of traffic, creating open passing lanes for himself. A playmaker, able to improvise while on the go. A tough running QB who’s not afraid to take on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
He shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Makes completions with good ball placement. Loses a bit of accuracy on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
He shows good range able to hit on high velocity throws. Can make all the throws required of him, able to hit in all areas of the field.
RELEASE:
He throws the ball with a side arm delivery like Phillip Rivers or Tony Romo. Good balance and stride on his drop backs and set ups. Good footwork on his drop backs. Great work adjusting the angle of his release when working in tight space situations.
THROW ON RUN:
This is an area of strength for Ean. He works best outside of the pocket, able to seek out big play opportunities. Works quickly to get in-line with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good speed at a 4.8/40, able to break free from would-be tacklers with a burst of speed. Very elusive out in the open field.
POISE:
He shows confidence in his abilities as a Dual Threat QB, able to take advantage of what the defense gives him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel for the space around him. Very difficult to contain within the pocket, showing good agility and elusiveness.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick hitting QB who makes quick reads and delivers with decisive throws.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making the right adjustment to the velocity of his throws, creating a softer touch when needed.
