SIZE:
Finn has very good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5’11” 173 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who wastes very little time getting the ball off. Displays toughness on the run, taking on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with high percentage results, many of his throws are made at short/intermediate range. His throws are in-line with his receivers with good anticipation timing. He can add to his accuracy by setting up prior to delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws include high velocity with tight rotational spin. Capable of extending the field with throws made of tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery, along with a high release point, adding lift. Increased acceleration throughout his arm motion. Can work to create consistency to his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Good speed and quickness as he works to the outside. Legit Dual Threat who can hurt a defense in the air or on the run.
FOOTWORK:
An agile QB in the pocket, mobile in all directions, creating additional space for himself.
POISE:
Good feel for the space around him. A confident QB who not afraid to take chances.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He uses the entire backfield as his work area. Can sit in the pocket or take it to the outside.
DECISION MAKING:Finn does a nice job locating his primary target while checking down to secondary outlets. Would like to see him stay in the pocket longer before taking it in on the run.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who does a good job making adjustments to velocity, for a softer toss when needed.
