SIZE:
Gabe has very good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 6’0” 162 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket, delivering quick strikes to his receivers. A rhythmic passer who picks up quickly on his defensive reads, connects with his target who shows good patience in the pocket.
ACCURACY:
Allows his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. His throws are made with a tight spiral, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very consistent with his delivery, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is not an issue for Gabe, high velocity throws get to his receivers in a hurry. The defense is left with no time to react. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion, while getting the ball across quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
Most comfortable in the pocket but can also work to the outside with good mobility. He locks in with his target, delivering a strong throw.
FOOTWORK:
Works well to get his feet set prior to delivery. Would like to see added speed and quickness in his steps.
POISE:
Confident in his abilities as a QB. A leader on the field who has full control of his offensive unit.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Taking chances when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
TOUCH:
Strong throws made at short/intermediate range but can also ease off for a softer toss.
