SIZE:
Gabriel has very good size of a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 5’9" 210 lbs. A tall presence in the backfield, very durable to withstand incoming pressure. Should be able to improve on his agility while adding to his strength over the next couple years as he prepares for high school.
ACCURACY:
Shows good accuracy at short and intermediate range, loses a bit at longer range. His throws are in line with his receivers. Can work to add to his accuracy with proper footwork prior to set up.
ARM STRENGTH:
Shows good range, making throws throughout the field. While on the run, can strong arm throws with adjusted angles of delivery. Can work to tighten up on the trajectory of his deep passes, allowing for less air underneath.
RELEASE:
Good stride and balance on his drop backs. As he works to add consistency, his throwing mechanics will sharpen up.
THROW ON RUN:
Gabriel moves well to the outside, seeking out big play opportunities. Will continue to work squaring up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Will continue to improve in this attribute, showing good agility within the pocket. He moves well laterally as he works to create open passing lanes for himself.
POISE:
He shows good patience as he remains focused executing the play.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well with his internal clock as he feels the defensive pressure around him. More game experience will only help, especially at the high school level.
DECISION MAKING
An intelligent QB who works well through his progressions. With more game experience, he'll continue to add to it. Can avoid tight coverage situations.
TOUCH:
Displays a very nice touch on his short and intermediate throws. Will need to work on his deep passes by lowering the trajectory of his throws.
