My hard work comes from my drive knowing I will have a future in football at the highest level. My drive comes from the satisfaction of moving the ball down the field with my team, capping it off with a touchdown and then a win. The win is for my team, the school and the community, not just me. That’s when I really know all my hard work has paid off.

Scouting Report

Garrett has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'2"’ 160 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field. A tall and lengthy QB who’ll be able to add bulk to his frame over the next few years. High release point gives him added height to his throws.
His throws are in-line with his receivers, showing precision passes made at the short and intermediate range. Good anticipation and timing with his receivers over the middle.
Garrett has the advantage of size, which gives him an extended arm motion able to make plays at long range. This allows for him to get over the top, giving him a solid vertical passing game. Passes made within the secondary include high velocity throws.
Throws with a classic over the top delivery with a high release point. Fully extended arm motion, able to add increased acceleration.
Garrett's most comfortable as a pocket passer but also an athletic QB who can get to the outside with swift movement. He shows good forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended targets.
For his size, Garrett is well balanced with a longer stride. Very good spacing on his dropbacks and setups. Good speed at an 4.87/40.POISE:
Shows good patience in the pocket as he waits for his receivers to break on their routes. Not easily distracted by the noise around him.
Garrett throws with a tall platform with good balance and stride. Works well within his offensive unit. Able to execute plays from beginning to end.
He does a nice job going through his progressions, from his primary target on down to his secondary outlets. Not afraid to take chances downfield with a controlled aggressiveness.
Does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws, creating a softer release at the short and intermediate range. Solid trajectory on the deeper routes, displaying just enough air underneath the ball.
