Scouting Report

SIZE:
Garrison has good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 184 lbs. He shows good toughness while on the run, taking on would-be tacklers. Delivers the ball with a tall platform, able to add lift to his throws with a high release point. Very dangerous out in the open field.
ACCURACY:
Demonstrates good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Able to place the ball in reach of his receivers, making a play on it. Good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, reaching his receivers in a hurry. Able to stretch the field with his vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer with a high release point. Garrison has a fully extended arm motion, able to get the ball up and over coverage. Displays good footwork prior to set up, getting his feet under him.
THROW ON RUN:
He works to the outside with good quickness and speed. Getting the ball out in front of him as he seeks out a target. A legit Dual Threat who can turn it up at any moment.
FOOTWORK:
This is an area of strength for Garrison, he’s very athletic, able to make defenders miss while displaying elusiveness. He gets into the secondary with a burst of speed and moves quickly through the secondary.
POISE:
Give him high marks for this attribute, he’s as calm as they get. Not easily distracted when executing a play. Very good patience as he waits for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well in and around the pocket with good agility. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a good job seeking out his best option receiver. Works well through his progressions, seeking out big play opportunities.
