SIZE:
Grant has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 150 lbs. A true competitor on the field. He sits in the pocket with a tall platform. Good length with a fully extended delivery, giving his throws added height. He should be able to add bulk to his tall frame over these next few years before college.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target with his receivers, hitting them in-line whether he’s stationary or on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to generate momentum upon his release with increased velocity on his throws. Tight spiral, getting the ball to his intended target in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Grant has an over the top delivery with a high release point. It comes across with a fully extended arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who works well to the outside. Can work to square up with his receivers. This would add to his accuracy.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area Grant will continue to perfect as a Dual Threat QB. Combining his throwing ability with his running ability. He’s an athletic QB who shows good lateral movement and quickness.
POISE:
With more game experience he'll continue to gain confidence in his abilities as a QB, trusting in his skills.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile in and around the pocket. He works well in both directions, showing good lateral movement. Calm under pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very decisive on his delivery, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Can work to avoid throwing the ball into tight coverage situations.
TOUCH:
Tight trajectory at longer distances. He’ll continue to work on touch in his short and intermediate game, while adding a softer delivery when needed.
