SIZE:
Grey has excellent size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 5’10” 210 lbs. He’s a strong running QB, taking on would-be tacklers for added yards. Very durable with lower body strength.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target, getting to his receivers with good ball placement and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can make all of the throws required of him. At the short and intermediate range, Grey adds high velocity throws that get past defenders within tight windows of space.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a follow through at full extension. Can work to tighten up on rotational spin for increased acceleration.
THROW ON RUN:
Grey works best outside the pocket where he’s very comfortable. Shows good speed and quickness working to the outside. Can hurt a defense either in the air or on the ground. Very versatile.
FOOTWORK:
A proven Dual Threat who can get through the secondary with good speed and elusiveness.
POISE:
Good patience while waiting for his receiver's break. Agile in the pocket, able to create added space for himself.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure, able set up or move laterally as he works around traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
He works in the pocket with good patience. Making throws of high completion, avoiding tight coverage situations.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Grey. He delivers a catchable ball, including a softer touch when needed.
