SIZE:
Jason has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 155 lbs. A very versatile QB, able to do all things on the field. Tall platform in the pocket, with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion. Tough running QB with good quickness. Adds extra height to his throws with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
This is a major strength area. Shows good precision on his passes while stationary in the pocket. Doesn’t lose much on accuracy while on the run. He does a nice job getting his steps down before he sets up for a pass.
ARM STRENGTH:
This QB can let it rip at anytime, showing off high velocity throws throughout the field. He can fire it into tight windows of space or let it fly on deeper routes. Many weapons to his arsenal.
RELEASE:
Jason has an over the top release with a fully extended arm motion, gaining added momentum to his delivery. He’s able to adjust the angle of his delivery when space is limited and timing is imperative.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s a very athletic QB who can take it in or hit a target on the fly.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very quick out in the open field with a burst of speed, creating separation. He works the entire field, showing excellent vision while on the run.
POISE:
He controls the tempo of the game, with the ability to turn it up at any moment. Very confident in his abilities as a QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good sense of the traffic around him, able to clear space for himself. Very comfortable roaming the pocket while waiting for a potential target to appear.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick-thinking QB who wastes very little time getting the ball out to his best option receivers. Able to work through his progressions.
TOUCH:
He’s a reactive QB who shows the ability to get the ball out in a hurry but can work to slow things down at times to create a softer touch on certain plays in between zone coverage.
