Jdyn has very good size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 205 lbs. He’s a tough QB who’s able to stand in the pocket and deliver a strike. A legit Dual Threat with good speed and quickness out on the open field. Good lower body strength. Throws with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark, hitting his receivers while in stride. Able to work within tight areas of space, making the adjustments needed to his delivery. Shows solid ball placement and touch at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
Jydn can hit in all areas of the field with strong throws. High velocity throws that pierces through the defensive coverage. Able to stretch the defense with his vertical game, creating opportunities at closer range.
RELEASE:
Very good throwing mechanics which are well balanced and consistent. He throws with an over the top, fully extended arm motion. Generates momentum throughout his delivery, creating strong velocity.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s a pure Dual Threat, able to work inside as a pocket passer or get to the outside to deliver a strike. Displays very good mobility and quickness on the go, while surveying the field.
FOOTWORK:
Very polished on his footwork, especially on his drop backs and set ups. Quick footed with well balanced spacing in stride. Good speed out in the open field, able to create separation.
POISE:
Jdyn's a leader on the field, inspiring his teammates with his determination and toughness. He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB and shows calm while in pressured situations.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure, able to set up in the pocket or break out to create added space for himself. Very agile QB, who does a nice job while in traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Works the entire field, seeking out big play opportunities. He’s got many weapons, very dangerous while on the go. A playmaker on the field, who is best when he improvises while on the go.
TOUCH:
A very good touch pass QB, able to ease of the velocity of his throws, while creating a softer release. Gets the ball up and over coverage.
