SIZE:
JJ has good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 135 lbs. Good mobility within the pocket. A very capable Dual Threat with a quick first step along with breakaway speed.
ACCURACY:
An accurate passer when given the time and space to throw. He’s able to hit his receivers with throws made of tight rotational spin. Would like to see a tighter trajectory at longer distances.
ARM STRENGTH:
Increased acceleration throughout his arm motion. High velocity throws in between tight windows of space.
RELEASE:
JJ delivers the ball with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion. His release is fluid and consistent.
THROW ON RUN:
Very good speed and quickness. Able to get to the outside in a hurry with the potential of taking off at any moment. Very dangerous out in the open field.
FOOTWORK:
Able to create a separation from would-be tacklers with his burst of speed. A quick first step.
POISE:
With more game experience he'll continue to add confidence in his game. Allowing for more patience whille assessing coverage.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Difficult to contain within the pocket. Able to move freely in and around the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick thinking QB who works well through his options.
TOUCH:
Delivers a catchable ball with added touch. Can work to tighten trajectory at longer distances.
