SIZE:
Joseph has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 5'10" 170 lbs. This QB's a baller. He work methodically to tear apart a defense. Stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field with excellent vision. A strong armed QB who can fire the ball just about anywhere on the field.
ACCURACY:
His throws include perfect trajectory, getting the ball to receivers in a hurry. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it, with good ball location. Picks up on his receivers with good anticipation and timing of their routes. Threw for a 64% completion rate last season.
ARM STRENGTH:
Joseph makes his throws seem so effortless. Very good arm strength on deep patterns and high velocity throws at the short and intermediate range. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Throws the ball with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm motion. The ball gets out in a hurry with increased acceleration throughout his follow through. Very good footwork prior to his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s most comfortable within the pocket but displays very good athleticism while out in the open field. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to locate a potential target.
FOOTWORK:
Excellent mobility within the pocket, moving quickly to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
He works well with his offensive unit, using all of his receivers. Shows very good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is an area of strength for Joseph. He has a great feel for defensive pressure and reacts quickly while maintaining his focus on the play.
DECISION MAKING:
I was very impressed in his ability to work through his progressions. This is his best QB attribute. Shows good patience and vision downfield.
TOUCH:
Displays solid trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath. Able to make the right adjustments on the angle and delivery of his passes at the short and intermediate range.
