SIZE:
LeMarcus has good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 150 lbs. He’s an athletic QB who can attack a defense whether in the air or on the ground.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers giving them an opportunity to make a play on the ball. This will be an area he'll continue to improve on by sharpening up on his throwing mechanics.
ARM STRENGTH:
He works throws with high velocity at short/intermediate range. Loses a bit on throws made at longer distance.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a high release point, giving his throws added lift. A quick release as a result of the increased acceleration through his throwing motion.
THROW ON RUN:
LeMarcus is an athletic QB who works to the outside in a hurry. Gets his body aligned toward his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
A quick first step, able to get through the defense with a burst of speed. Displays elusiveness and shiftiness as he maneuvers his way around would-be tacklers. Very difficult to contain out in the open field.
POISE:
LeMarcus has the potential of serving as a playmaker, working fluidly from a pocket passer to a running QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He's got a good feel for the space around him, able to weave around traffic while creating space for himself. Very good agility in and out of the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
This will be an area in which he'll continue to improve on with more quality reps. Would like to see more patience vs taking off on the run.
TOUCH:
He can ease off the velocity, adding for a softer delivery when needed. Maintaining tight trajectory at every level.
