SIZE:
Luke has very good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 180 lbs. Stands tall in the pocket, showing good vision of the entire field. He throws with a high release point, adding height to his throws. Very durable QB with a strong lower body, difficult to take down.
ACCURACY:
His throws are right on the mark, on target and in-line with his receivers. Showing good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes with good ball location.
ARM STRENGTH:
He throws the ball with increased momentum during his follow-through. High velocity throws which get to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Luke's throwing motion is consistent, including an over the top delivery with a tight compact release that gets across quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
Very good speed to the outside, as he maintains his vision downfield. Good rotation of body.
FOOTWORK:
Good mobility in and around the pocket, showing the ability to move laterally in each direction. Good balance and speed on his footwork drills.
POISE:
His confidence level is building. With more game experience, he’ll be able to trust in his abilities to lead his team. Would like to se more pateience as he waits for the play to fully development.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Not easily distracted from the noise around him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job picking up on his receivers routes and hitting them in stride.
TOUCH:
He’s able to make adjustments to the velocity of his throws to add a softer touch when needed.
