Maksym has been training and competing nationally as a quarterback for 4 years in tackle, 7v7 and flag football. He plays for the nationally ranked Apex Blackwolves tackle and Apex Predators 7v7 and flag team. He has led his teams to win 8 regional 7v7 tournaments, 12 regional flag tournaments and numerous local championships in flag, 7s and tackle. He trains weekly with Coach Vinny Passas and regularly attends quarterback camps and competitions, most recently winning MVP at QB Universe LA. Maksym is a straight-A student at The Challenger School, a 3 time Challenger Speech Competition winner, and the 2023 Challenger Spelling Bee Champion.
