SIZE:
Marley has good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 5'5" 135 lbs. He’s a tough competitor on the field with a strong desire to win. Watching his film reminds me of another playmaker, Johnny Manziel. Very difficult to contain in the pocket. Unstoppable while on the go.
ACCURACY:
When Marley's in the game, the energy level is taken to another level. He can hit anywhere on the field. Whether on the run or in the pocket, he shows good accuracy. Since many of his throws happen while on the run, he loses a bit of consistency.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can let it rip for way back with high velocity throws, throwing darts throughout the field. His vertical passing game is solid. Strong acceleration on his delivery.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with an arm motion fully extended. Because of this, he’s able to gain momentum upon his delivery. Very good body mechanics and footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Marley's able to get to the outside in a hurry, seeking out potential targets while getting there. Very dangerous out in the open field because of his dual threat capabilities.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very elusive out in the open field, with spins and quickness. He’s very hard to contain. Shows good vision while on the run.
POISE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure, able to move away from the traffic. Controls the pace of the game, able to take over at any time.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s very comfortable in the backfield whether setting up for deliver or shifting to the outside for a quick hitter. Able to step up in the pocket or move laterally when needed.
DECISION MAKING:
Does a good job going through his progressions while on the fly. He’s an intelligent QB who seeks out big gain opportunities. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
Good touch in all areas of the field, short, intermediate and long. He’s skilled at taking something off the velocity of his throws when needed.
