Scouting Report

SIZE:
Mason has very good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6'3" 181 lbs. A quick hitting QB with a strong armed delivery. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding more height to the ball’s trajectory. Good toughness on the run, a long stride running QB. Should be able to add bulk to his frame as he prepares to enter the collegiate level in a couple years.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made in-line with his receivers, showing good anticipation of the routes along with proper ball placement. Sharp precision passing with dart-like accuracy made downfield.
ARM STRENGTH:
This QB has a cannon for an arm. His throws are made with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Very dangerous vertical passing QB who can let it rip. No distance to can't reach.
THROW ON RUN:
Mason’s an athletic QB who shows good quickness getting to the outside. He works well through his rotation as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
Does a nice job getting his feet in the proper positioning prior to release. Not labeled as a Dual Threat but can get out with bursts of speed and quickness. Very good spacing and balance while in his drop backs. A long stride running QB.
POISE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure, able to work within the space around him. He’s a confident QB with well above average attributes.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays good agility within the pocket, able to step up or move laterally when space is limited.
DECISION MAKING:
There's no hesitation with the QB. Mason wastes very time getting the ball to his receivers. Works well through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
One of Mason's strength’s is his ability to delivery a pass with a soft touch when needed.
