SIZE:
Mitchell has very good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 6'1" 193 lbs. Good mobility as he works to the outside. A strong throwing QB with a consistent delivery.
ACCURACY:
His throws are on target, getting to his receivers with good ball placement and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can make all of the throws required of him. At the short and intermediate range, Mitchell adds high velocity throws which gets to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full extension. A quick release at short/intermediate range.
THROW ON RUN:
Works well to the outside where he’s very most comfortable. Shows good speed and quickness as he squares up with his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of his size, he moves fluidly in all directions.
POISE:
Good patience while waiting for his receivers break. Very agile in the pocket, able to create added space for himself.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to lock in on his intended target while in stride.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience he'll continue to add to working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is an area of strength for Mitchell. His throws are very catchable, including a softer touch when needed.
