SIZE:
Nigell has very good size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 185 lbs. Shows good vision downfield while creating added space for himself working away from traffic. Very agile in the backfield with good mobility in either direction.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding a tight spiral upon release. Shows good timing and ball placement as he leads his receivers while in stride.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is Nigell's best QB attribute. Displays throws that are made with high velocity at the short and intermediate range. Strong delivery with increased acceleration. Able to extend the field with throws made over coverage.
RELEASE:
Throws the ball with an over the top delivery made with a full arm motion that comes across quickly. He’s able to generate momentum all the way through his delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good footwork and mobility as he works to the outside. He’s able to square up with his intended target as he releases the ball with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
A quick first step, getting himself in position to strike at any moment. Very good speed out in the open field.
POISE:
Nigell continues to gain confidence in his game as he works to perfect his craft. Transitions fluidly from a pocket passer to a dual threat.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and around the pocket. Able to maintain his focus while working his way through traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s able to use the entire field as he connects with his targets with decisive throws that get there in a hurry.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job taking something off the ball, adding a softer release. He can work to add a softer delivery at short range.
