SIZE:
Niko has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 165 lbs. He's very agile within the pocket while keeping the play alive. A long stride running QB who's able to work his way around defenders.
ACCURACY:
When given the space and time, Niko's accuracy goes way up. Able to hit his receivers in stride with good ball placement. Delivers a catchable ball, allowing for the receiver to make a play on it. Good anticipation of receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He shows good range on his throws, able to get the ball to any area. High velocity throws over the middle. Can work to tighten up on the trajectory at longer distances.
RELEASE:
A left handed QB. A classic over the top delivery with full extension. Able to get the ball out quickly with good accuracy. Solid footing prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s a very athletic QB who shows good mobility and quickness as he works to the outside. Does a nice job lining up with his receivers, shows good forward momentum upon his release.
FOOTWORK:
A long stride running QB who can cover distance in a hurry. Able to create separation from defenders with burst of speed. Very agile within the pocket, able to move in all directions.
POISE:
Does a nice job picking up on defensive pressure, either stepping up or moving laterally. Calm under pressure.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He serves as a pure Dual Threat, working in and out of the pocket with very good agility, creating added space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB, making quick decisions while on the run. Does a nice job locating his primary targets.
TOUCH:
Niko does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws, creating a softer delivery within gaps.
