SIZE:
Peyton has good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 150 lbs. A quick hitting QB who stands tall in the pocket. A strong armed QB who gets to ball off in a hurry.
ACCURACY:
A very accurate passer with good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. He’s so precise with his delivery with sound throwing mechanics in a consistent manner.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can attack a defense in many ways, whether it comes from a quick strike over the middle or a deep vertical throw on a pump fake. Good strength in arm with high velocity throws.
RELEASE:
This is an area of strength for Peyton. He’s fundamentally sound. An over the top delivery with a full arm extension. Very good feet placement and stride on his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays athleticism while on the run. Works quickly to the outside, as he squares up with target. Doesn’t lose much in accuracy as while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Displays very good footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
Displays good awareness of pressure, able to step up or move laterally for added space. Calm under pressure, stays focused on the play as he guides it through.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable within the pocket. Able to survey the field for potential targets. Good agility in and out of the pocket.
DECISION MAKING:
He works methodically as he picks apart a defense. A quick timer inside of his head, able to get the ball off quickly with good judgment.
TOUCH:
His throws are made with a soft touch, able to adjust the velocity of his throws in certain passing situation.
