SIZE:
Peyton has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 175 lbs. He’s a strong armed QB who shows good toughness while on the run. A fierce competitor who attacks the defense at every level. Runs through defenders not away from them for added yards.
ACCURACY:
Very good anticipation of his receivers routes. Giving them an opportunity to make a play on the ball. Very good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, reaching his receivers in a hurry. With a quick snap of the wrist, he’s able to gain momentum upon his release. He gives the defense no time to react.
RELEASE:
An over the top passer with a high release point. Peyton displays proper throwing mechanics with predictable consistency. Demonstrates solid footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
He works to the outside with good quickness and speed. Getting the ball out in front of his as he seeks out a target. A legit Dual Threat who can turn it up at any moment.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very athletic, able to get into the secondary with a burst of speed. Very agile within the pocket.
POISE:
Give him high marks for this attribute, he’s as calm as they get. Not easily distracted when executing a play. Played varsity ball as a Freshman.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very difficult to contain within the pocket. Works well in and around the pocket with good agility. Good feel for the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a good job seeking out his best option receiver. With more game experience, Peyton will be able to perfect his ability to work through his progressions.
TOUCH
Very good touch on his throws at every level; short, intermediate, and long. Tight trajectory on his throws made at longer distances.
