Scouting Report

Rand has good size for a 2020 Dual Threat QB at 6'0"" 190 lbs. Very good agility within the pocket, able to open up additional passing lanes. A QB with quickness while on the run, able to create separation from defenders at a 4.63/40. A pure Dual Threat who can hurt a defense in the air, or on the go. Very impressed with his play.
His throws are in-line with his receivers, with excellent location and timing. He’s able to maintain the accuracy of his throws while on the run. Sharp precision throws made within the secondary.
Rand delivers the ball with strong forward momentum and velocity. Shows good distance and trajectory on his deep passes. A quick release and strong velocity on his throws at the short and intermediate range.
His throws include an over the top delivery which comes from way back. A fully extended arm motion for added momentum, giving long range potential.
This is an area in which Rand excels. He has very good speed and quickness as he works to the outside. Most dangerous while on the run, opening up the entire felt as he seeks out opportunity.
Another area of strength. Showing excellent mobility in and around the pocket. He runs with a 4.63/40 speed, posing as threat while on the run.
He’s very confident in his abilities, willing to take chances down field in tight coverage, showing good ball placement. He shows good awareness of defensive pressure, able to move around traffic.Rand's extremely difficult to contain without the pocket because of his elusiveness and quickness. He does a nice job escaping from the defensive pressure, creating open space for himself.
Able to work from his primary to secondary outlets. A playmaker while on the go, seeking out opportunities downfield. Very aggressive, attacking the defense every chance he gets.
This is an area of strength, he shows good touch on the deep pass routes and does a nice job developing a softer touch at intermediate and shorter range.
