Rory has excellent size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 175 lbs. Plays well above the level of competition. He stands tall in the pocket, able to survey the field for potential targets. A long stride runner who can pick up chunks of yardage while on the run.
ACCURACY:
Rory can get the ball to any location on the field with aggressive throws that are made with precision. He’s able to maintain his accuracy whether its in the pocket or on a roll out. The key to his accuracy comes from his sound throwing mechanics along with consistency.
ARM STRENGTH:
His arm strength is never a question. He fires darts into coverage and can extend the field with bombs downfield.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery that comes across quickly with continued acceleration upon release. Nice work getting set up prior to delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who displays very good mobility getting to the outside. Good vision downfield as he locks in with a receiver.
FOOTWORK:
A long stride running QB with speed and quickness downfield.
POISE:
A confident QB who’s skilled at every level. In control of the offensive unit as he leads his team. Very comfortable within the pocket, showing patience and poise.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Nice work picking up on pressure, stepping up or moving laterally for additional space.
DECISION MAKING:
Makes throws of good judgement. Takes advantage of what the defense gives him. Very decisive with his delivery.
TOUCH:
Tight trajectory on the deep ball along with a soft release when needed at the short and intermediate range.
