SIZE:
Rowan has very good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 195 lbs. He’s a tall presence in the pocket, able to oversee the entire field for possible targets. Works well within the pocket, creating adding space for himself. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding for more height.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made in-line with his receivers. Tight rotational spin on the ball. Throws made on a rope. Solid timing and anticipation of his receivers routes. Good ball location.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are made with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Demonstrates the ability to extend the field with his vertical passing game. Tight trajectory of throws made at longer distances.
THROW ON RUN:
Rowan's an athletic QB who displays good quickness getting to the outside. Squares up with his target prior to set up. Strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
Able to create added space for himself. Does a nice job getting his feet in proper positioning prior to release. Very good spacing and balance on his drop backs.
POISE:
Good awareness of defensive pressure, able to work within the space around him. He’s a confident QB who trusts in his abilities.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays good agility within the pocket, able to step up or move laterally when space is limited.
DECISION MAKING:
Works through his reads quickly, getting the ball out in a hurry. Solid work through his progressions, primary to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
One of Rowan's strengths is his ability to delivery a pass with a soft touch. Able to make the right adjustments to the velocity of his delivery.
