SIZE:
Ryken has good size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 180 lbs. He’s always on the go, difficult to contain in the pocket. Very lethal while on the run. High release point, adding lift to his throws.
ACCURACY:
Works well to get set prior to delivery. Remains accurate while on the run. His throws are right on the mark, with good location and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
A very deceptive passer, can let it rip while on the run. He can extend the field with vertical throws or thread the needle within tight coverage.
RELEASE:
A high release point with an over the top delivery. Increased acceleration throughout his arm motion. The ball comes off quickly, restricting the defense’s reaction time.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Ryken works best. Can crush a defense with his ability to keep a play alive while on the run. Very hard to defend.
FOOTWORK:
Very mobile and agile in the pocket. A playmaker who can take over a game.
POISE:
A true competitor who gives his all. Good awareness of incoming pressure, not fazed by the noise around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well to get away from traffic, seeking out a safe zone to set up.
DECISION MAKING:
Does a nice job working through his options while surveying the field. Makes smart decisions while on the run.
TOUCH:
Adjusts the velocity of his throw depending on the passing situation. His deep passes include tight trajectory.
