SIZE:
Tommy has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 187 lbs. I like how this QB plays. He has a chip on his shoulder, playing with strong confidence in his abilities. Difficult to contain within the pocket, most dangerous while on the run.
ACCURACY:
Tommy's able to maintain his accuracy, whether he’s in the pocket or on the run. Excellent body positioning as he sets to delivery the ball. His throws are right on the mark, with good location and timing.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws made of high velocity and an accelerated arm motion. A strong armed QB who can let it rip anywhere on the field. He can extend the field with his vertical throws or thread the needle.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion, getting the ball across in a hurry. The ball comes off quickly, restricting the defense’s reaction time.
THROW ON RUN:
Tommy can punish a defense with his ability to keep a play alive. He can hurt you with either his legs or his arm, very hard to defend.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a legit Dual Threat, with quickness, elusiveness and vision. A nice compliment to his passing game. A playmaker who’s can improvise while on the run.
POISE:
Not easily distracted by the noise around him, he thrives on chaos and is very instinctive. Good awareness of incoming pressure as he works around it.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good agility in and around the pocket, able to work away from traffic while seeking out a safe zone.
DECISION MAKING:
Works through his options while surveying the field. Makes smart decisions while on the run.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making the right adjustments to his delivery, easing off velocity for added touch.
