SIZE:
Trent has good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 182 lbs. A proven winner, 7A State Championship Runner-Up this past season. He wastes very little time setting up while delivering darts in all directions. A sharp precision passer who works methodically as he picks apart a defense. Very good mobility within the pocket, able to create added space. He does a nice job seeking out opportunities downfield.
ACCURACY:
His throws include tight trajectory, getting the ball to receivers in a hurry. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it, with good ball location. Picks up on his receivers with good anticipation and timing of their routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Trent makes his throws seem so effortless. Very good arm strength on deep patterns and high velocity throws at the short and intermediate range. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
Trent throws the ball with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm motion. The ball gets out in a hurry with increased acceleration throughout his follow through. Very good footwork prior to his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who's very dangerous out in the open field. Able to make plays while on the run. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to locate a potential target.
FOOTWORK:
Trent displays excellent mobility within the pocket, moving quickly to avoid traffic while creating space for himself.
POISE:
He works well within his offensive unit, using all of his receivers. Shows very good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Trent has a great feel for defensive pressure and reacts quickly while maintaining his focus on the play.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s a rhythmic passer, working quickly out of the set. Does a great job selling the play, then delivering a strike into the secondary.
TOUCH:
Able to make the right adjustments on the angle and delivery of his passes at the short and intermediate range.
