SIZE:
Trey has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’5” 210 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer who’s uses his height to be able to survey the entire field. A strong armed QB who delivers bombs up and over coverage. A tall lengthy QB who'll contiue to add more bulk to his frame prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
Has perfected his ability to get the ball to a certain area on the field with excellent timing and anticipation. Very good ball placement. Trust his receivers to to snag the ball in tight coverage situations.
ARM STRENGTH
He shows very good arm strength, able to make throws of high velocity. He also possess a vertical game that needs to be respected. Dropping bombs throughout the field.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, held fully back for increaed acceleration. Displays well balanced stride and balance on his dropbacks and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
For a QB of his size, Trey has very good lateral movement, working outside as he pins down a target. Good rotation as he squares up towards his receiver. Strong forward momentum upon his release.
FOOTWORK:
Very good agility in and around the pocket. He moves well laterally, while creating added space for himself. Shows good speed and quickness, able to serve as a running QB on short yard situation.
POISE:
Good patience as he waits for his receiver’s breaks on their routes. Ready to lead his team at the varsity level this upcoming season. Will continue to gain confidence in his ability to lead at a higher level. He’s got the right tools to become an elite QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Trey's very comfortable as a pocket passer, he’s skilled in his ability to throw the ball at certain locations prior to receiver making his cut. Does a nice job picking up defensive pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very decisive with his delivery, able to pick up on the coverage and hitting his best option. Plays with a controlled aggressiveness, attacking a defense.
TOUCH:
This is an area of skill for Trey, he’s a strong throwing QB who can take something off the velocity of his throws for added touch. Would like to see a tighter trajectory at longer distances.
