Ty has very good size for a 2029 Dual Threat QB at 5'7" 120 lbs. He’s a pure athlete, able to do just about anything he wants on the field. He sets the tone when on the field.
ACCURACY:
When Ty's in the game, things speed up and energy gets truned up a knotch.
ACCURACY:
Whether his delivery comes from on the run or set in the pocket, he remains consistent. Very good throwing mechanics and ball control, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
His vertical game is deadly because of the threat of his running ability. High velocity throws made with dart-like precision. Tight trajectory at longer distances.
RELEASE:
He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Because of this, he’s able to gain momentum throughout his delivery. Very good body mechanics and footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Ty's a skilled Dual Threat, able to get to the outside in a hurry, seeking out potential targets. This is where he's most dangerous, on the run.
FOOTWORK:
Ty's very elusive out in the open field, with spins and quickness. Displays good vision while on the run.
POISE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure, able to move away from traffic. Would like to see more patience in the pocket before breaking out.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He’s very comfortable in the pocket, whether setting up for deliver or shifting to the outside for a quick hitter. Able to step up in the pocket or move laterally when needed.
DECISION MAKING:
Ty does a good job working through his progressions while on the fly. He’s an intelligent QB who takes advantage of what the defense gives him. Very decisive with his throws.
TOUCH:
Continues to work on adjusting the velocity of his throws for added touch. Tight trajectory at long range.
