Scouting Report

SIZE:
Tyler has excellent size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 199 lbs. He's a tall presence in the backfield, displays very good vision downfield. He throws with a fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added height upon release. A quick hitting QB, able to get the ball off in a hurry.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space, Tyler's very accurate. He works well within the pocket, able to survey the entire field. Allows his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all throws required of him. Throws are made of high velocity within the secondary. Increase forward momentum throughout his arm motion, creating throws with further distance.
RELEASE:
Tyler throws with very high release point. He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Tyler's most comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with his athletic ability and seek out potential targets. Very good footwork along with a quick first step.
FOOTWORK:
He shows good agility in and out of the pocket, getting to the outside with good speed and quickness. Solid footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
POISE:
He's a winner on the field. Pop Warner 2017 & 2018 Nat'l Championship. Very versatile, able to do just about anything on the field. Not afraid to take chances with his throws, especially in one-on-one situations.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is where Tyler works best. Good feel of the traffic around him, able to create space for himself. Does a nice job picking up on big play opportunities.
DECISION MAKING:
Able to get the ball to his best option receiver. Very good initial read on the defense, connecting with his primary target.
TOUCH:
Able to adjust the velocity of his throws, adding a softer tough on his delivery.
