SIZE:
Wesley has very good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 155 lbs. He’s a hard running QB who takes on would be tacklers with toughness. Very good vision downfield as he connects with receivers with initial reads.
ACCURACY:
Able to hit his receivers while in stride. Fundamental sound throwing mechanics, along with consistency. Threw for a 63% completion rate last season. Can add to his accuracy with sharper footwork prior to setup.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays good velocity on this throws, hitting his targets over the middle and in between zone coverage. He can hit all areas of the field with throws that get to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top release with a fully extended arm motion. Able to generate strong momentum throughout his arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Wesley's an athletic QB who can get to the outside with good speed and quickness. He’s on target while in motion, showing good forward momentum on his release.
FOOTWORK:
Shows good agility in and around the pocket. He’s a beast on the run, able to get down while displaying good speed and toughness.
POISE:
Very comfortable in the pocket. Able to work quickly as he leads his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows very good patience while executing plays. He does a nice job picking up defense pressure.Able to work from his primary receiver to his check downs. Quick initial reads.
TOUCH:
A good touch at intermediate range, creating a softer delivery. Would like to see a tighter trajectory at long range.
