Timmy has very good size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 170 lbs. He sits in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field. Shows good mobility in and around the pocket, able to create space for himself. He's a dynamic play maker who can hurt a defense in the air or on the ground.
I was very impressed by his accuracy on film. He threw for a 70% completion percentage last season as a starting Varsity Freshman. His throws include good anticipation of his receivers routes. Very good ball placement, keeping it away from defenders, at 14/1 Td/Int ratio.
He shows good range on his throws, able to get the ball to any area on the field. High velocity throws over the middle along with a tight trajectory on his deep passes.
Timmy is a left-handed QB who throws the ball with a three-quarter arm motion. He positions the ball, even with his helmet, just above the shoulder. Able to get the ball out quickly with good accuracy. I would like to see a more over the top delivery, adding more height to his throws. Another area on improvement would be his footwork on drop backs.
THROW ON RUN:
Timmy's a very athletic QB who shows good mobility and quickness as he works to the outside. Does a nice job lining up with his receivers, shows strong forward momentum upon release.
A long stride running QB who can cover distance in a hurry. Able to create separation from defenders with burst of speed. Very agile within the pocket, able to move in all directions.
Timmy is gaining valuable experience as a 1st year Varsity starter. He's very patient in the pocket, taking only what the defense gives him. A play maker on the filed who can control the game with his athleticism. Does a nice job picking up on defensive pressure, either stepping up or moving laterally.
He serves as a pure Dual Threat, with many weapons in his arsenal. He works in and out of the pocket with very good agility, creating added space for himself.
Does a nice job locating his primary targets, with more game experience, he’ll be able to improve on his abilities to work through his progressions.
He does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws to create a softer release on fade routes. Another area on continuous improvement with more game experience, especially at the short and intermediate range.
