Tyler has excellent size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5’7” 130 lbs. He's a tall presence in the backfield, showing excellent vision downfield. He throws with a fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added height upon release. A long stride runner who's able to pick up chunks of yardage while on the run.
When given the time and space around him, Tyler's very accurate. He works well within the pocket, able to survey the entire field. A quick hitting QB who gets to ball to his receivers in a hurry.
He’s able to make all of the throws required of him. Displaying throws made of high velocity within the secondary. Increase forward momentum throughout his arm motion, creating throws with further distance.
Tyler throws with very high release point. He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork prior to set up of delivery.
Tyler's most comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with his athletic ability and seek out potential targets. Very good footwork along with a quick first step.
He shows good agility in and out of the pocket, getting to the outside speed and quickness. He does a very good job with his drop backs and set ups.
He’s gaining more confidence with more game experience. Very versatile, able to do just about anything on the field. Not afraid to take chances with his throws, especially in one-on-one situations.
This is where Tyler works best. He has a good feel of the traffic around him and able to create space for himself. Does a nice job picking up on big play opportunities.
With more game experience, Tyler will be able enhance his ability to read defenses. He does a nice job seeking out his primary target when open.
His throws over the middle include a soft touch, getting the ball in between zone coverage. Would like to see less air underneath his deeper passes and can ease off the velocity on his short routes, bubble screens.
